Admissions at the MacEwan University take place during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer seasons. Presently, the university offers 8 bachelor programs, 2 applied degrees along with 43 diploma and certificate programs. Some of the popular programs offered at the university include Accounting and Strategic Measurement, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Human Resources Management, and Theatre Production.
The application process for international students is the same as that for domestic students. However, since the international applicants are required to obtain a valid study permit, their admission deadlines are different and earlier than the domestic students.

MacEwan University has a specific timeline for all the entry sessions. The admission deadlines issued for international applicants are given below:

According to MacEwan University’s admission requirements, international students whose primary language is not English must provide proof of fluency in English. The applicants can do so by meeting the minimum score requirements of any one of the following test scores:

MacEwan University offers a variety of programs at the undergraduate level. From full-time programs to part-time programs, the applicants can opt for any mode of the program they want. The basic admission process and requirements for all the MacEwan programs are similar.
However, applicants should note that certain programs like Business Accounting are considered to be competitive. For those programs, applicants must present a higher admission average or complete additional admission criteria. Therefore, applicants are recommended to check the specific program pages for additional information.

Once the applicants submit their applications and supporting documents, they can keep track of their admission status. To do so, applicants are required to log into myPortal.MacEwan.ca. This would allow them to access both myStudentSystem and my MacEwan Gmail account.
MacEwan University does not have any particular timeframe for admission notifications. However, after students are notified about their admission decision through an official email. Applicants who are offered admission are required to accept or reject the admission by the issued deadline.
