University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres Campus & Housing

UQTR has two fully functional campuses in Trois_Rivieres and Drummondville. It also has 8 university centers at Joliette, Longueuil, Quebec, Saint-Hyacinthe, Sorel-Tracy, Vallée-du-Haut-St-Laurent, Victoriaville and La Tuque.

The main campus at Trois-Rivieres also has student housing facility to accommodate over a thousand students.

Student Accommodation

The University Cottage – it consists of 4 building with 186 rooms. It provides 4 ½, 5 ½ and 6 ½ shared apartments with private rooms.

Campus Residence 1997 – The complex has 11 building with 310 rooms of 6½ shared apartments.

UQTR also helps students find off campus housing by listing available accommodations on its dedicated portal.

French Language Requirement

  • As the courses at the university are taught in French, students must, therefore, be able to speak, read and write French.
  • The minimum acceptable level is intermediate/advanced or the equivalent of Level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The following attestations are accepted as the proof of proficiency in French language by the university:

  • Letter from the student’s previous university verifying the student’s proficiency in French
  • DELF(Diploma in French Studies)
  • DALF(Diploma in Advanced French)
