Trent University Bachelor of Business Administration is a four-year full-time undergraduate degree based in Peterborough, Ontario. International tuition sits at CAD 35,000 (INR 23.30 Lakhs) per year with a September intake. Eligibility asks for a 70% Class XII average and IELTS 6.5.

The programme trains graduates for accounting, finance, marketing and management roles through a paid 12-month co-op option and small-cohort teaching. Its CPA-track accounting stream and 18:1 faculty ratio distinguish it from larger Ontario business schools. It suits Indian applicants who want a work-integrated Bachelor with direct employer access.

  • The BBA Co-op stream schedules three paid four-month work terms with Canadian employers.
  • Accounting specialisation students complete CPA-track courses inside the four-year timeline.
  • Every entering international student is auto-considered for entrance awards of CAD 2,500 (INR 1.66 Lakhs) to CAD 5,500 (INR 3.66 Lakhs).

Current Admission Status

Applications for the September 2027 intake are Open. International student deadline: 15 June 2027, with an earlier priority date of 1 February 2027 for competitive streams.

Indian applicants targeting the co-op stream should aim for the February priority date because BBA Co-op admits only September entrants and holds limited seats.

  • PGWP applicants must show Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7 English test scores under the November 2024 language update.
  • Only one PGWP is issued in a lifetime; the four-year BBA qualifies for the maximum three-year permit.
  • Spouses of Bachelor’s degree PGWP holders can apply for an open work permit tied to that period.
  • Federal Express Entry pathway to Permanent Residence typically opens after 12 months of skilled Canadian work.

Visa reality: The Post-Graduation Work Permit gives Trent BBA graduates a three-year window to log Canadian work experience toward Express Entry. Missing CLB 7 IELTS during the PGWP window is the biggest reason Indian grads lose the pathway.

Trent’s BBA suits Indian students seeking a paid Co-op stream and CPA-track access at a small Ontario campus. The four-year Prestigious cap of CAD 160,000 (INR 1.07 Crore) can reset the cost math for high-scoring commerce applicants.
