If we have to choose between these two colleges and courses - MBA-HR from KJ Somaiya or PGDM core from BIMTECH highly depends on your interests and your career aspirations.  If you want your career in Human resources and you see yourself working as an HR professional you should choose MBA-HR from KJ Somaiya and if you don’t want to restrict yourself to one field you should go for PGDM core from BIMTECH.  However, I would recommend you to join BIMTECH’s flagship course as it will give you more opportunities and the average package at BIMTECH 2023 is INR 11.25 LPA.Read more

BIMTECH's placements and CAT percentile to get in are better than IBS Hyderabad. The CAT percentile required to get into IBS Hyderabad is 60-65 percentile while placements at BIMTECH (BIMTECH average package 2023 is INR 11.25 LPA) are better. Ans. To answer this question accurately might be difficult since we do not have the internal data with us and the exact numbers can vary year to year. But, commonly, large numbers of students are from outside Maharashtra. In JBIMS, the number of non-domicile seats is 18 out of 120, so you can't expect those 18 students to be from outside Maharashtra. It is worth noting that the exact ratio would also depend on several factors like the college's popularity, the number of seats available, and the program they are offering. Read more

Ans. Honestly speaking all the B Schools you mentioned are just glamorous brand names with no real value. The placement scenario is very pathetic here as the companies that visit are looking for students who can work at fewer salaries. Only the extremely meritorious students get good packages and that too is rare. So I will suggest that if you have scored 95+ in CAT, then you are capable of more. So work hard and target a better B School next year. Remove these colleges from your list of options and attempt CAT again. If you are not very sure about attempting CAT again then prepare yourself for a package as low as 5-6 LPA.Read more
