Ans. Between the colleges you mentioned in the question, IFIM is better for an MBA in Finance. I know a few people from the institute and they had good things to say about the program.  Here’s a brief highlight of the same which can give you an idea about the course.  Average CTC 10.2 LPA Highest CTC 16 LPA Course Fee 12 LPA Apart from the institutes mentioned in the question, there are many other management institutes that can be a better option for an MBA in Finance.  If you are looking only for Finance specialization, there are some really great management institutes offering banking and management courses such as Symbiosis, Jain University, Times Pro, ITM, etc.Read more

But, commonly, large numbers of students are from outside Maharashtra. In JBIMS, the number of non-domicile seats is 18 out of 120, so you can't expect those 18 students to be from outside Maharashtra. Ans. Honestly speaking all the B Schools you mentioned are just glamorous brand names with no real value. The placement scenario is very pathetic here as the companies that visit are looking for students who can work at fewer salaries. Only the extremely meritorious students get good packages and that too is rare. So I will suggest that if you have scored 95+ in CAT, then you are capable of more. So work hard and target a better B School next year. Remove these colleges from your list of options and attempt CAT again. If you are not very sure about attempting CAT again then prepare yourself for a package as low as 5-6 LPA.Read more
