Ans. It depends on your personal career goal and aspiration. If you want to take Marketing as a major, then I would suggest preferring IMT Nagpur because IMT as a whole is known for its marketing program. IMT Nagpur has a lower fee in comparison to Symbiosis Nagpur. SIBM Nagpur has a strong placement record with an average package of INR 19.5 LPA being offered to the top 10% of the batch. The IT/ITES sector emerged as the top sector for placements, with 19.4% of students being placed in this field. Ans. When it comes to PGDM, IMT is preferable to both colleges. DCP, however, might not be the best option because of its expensive price and unpredictable placements. In terms of the caliber of placements and courses, I believe FORE and TAPMI are pretty comparable. Compared to FORE, TAPMI has a locational disadvantage but has a lesser fee compared to FORE so TAPMI offers a better ROI.Read more

Ans. Jaipuria (Lucknow) Or Jamia Millia Islamia (Delhi) neither of these institutions is considered a top-tier choice for MBA studies. During the placement drive of Jamia Millia Islamia 2023, in which 25 companies participated in the placement drive. The highest CTC stood at INR 25 LPA which was offered by Amazon. The average CTC stood at INR 9 LPA. Unfortunately, the return on investment (ROI) in terms of salary packages versus the program's cost may not be favorable in either case. On the other hand, companies visited the Jaipuria campus for the first time. Jaipuria Lucknow's average package stood at INR 12.34 LPA, showing a 25% rise from the previous year, and JIM Lucknow's highest package stood at INR 22 LPA. But in conclusion, if we compare these universities on the basis of ranking and overall placement Jaipuria is a better option for pursuing an MBA. Jaipuria ranked 25 whereas Jamia Millia Islamia stood 92 among the top MBA schools in India. Ans. If you have great scores, I will recommend you to go for an institute better than Jaipuria and if you have average scores then too Jaipuria should never be your chance. In this case, you should get your MBA/PGDM degree from any average UP college that charges low fees in comparison to Jaipuria. The placement scenario will be similar and you will end up with a smaller loan to repay. I know a friend who completed her MBA from Jaipuria and later realized that she got zero ROI from the institute. Superficially, the placement scenario seems to be great, but the kind of companies that visit are average and the placement figures are inflated. No doubt, the institute offers a great academic environment and placements, but getting placed in a good company might sometimes become very challenging and the overall ROI will be very low. However, the institute helps in the holistic development of the student's personality and helps them become a more confident person. Read more

My answer is based on my sisters' experience and review who chose Jaipuriya Institute of Management Lucknow for PGDM because of its high rankings, faculty profiles, and the excellent placement scenario. Here is a review based on her experience The faculty was indeed very approachable and learned as she had expected and they were empathetic to the students' needs. Every group of students is assigned a separate mentor faculty that not helps them academically but also helps them grow as a person. The infrastructure and the campus facilities are top-notch and help in enhancing the overall learning experience. The staff members are also polite and cooperative making your college life smooth and relaxing. Students here are given fourfold placement choices so they can apply to companies coming to all the branches of the institute. The highest package was recorded at INR 16 LPA while the average package was recorded at INR 9.4 LPA In all, Jaipuriya Institute of Management is a good choice for MBA.Read more

Frequent guest lectures help provide exposure to the industrial interface. The professors here are very cooperative and guide you throughout. Their continuous evaluation method is effective in disciplining the students. Clubs: The prime location of the institute attracts the best crowd. Ans. To be frank, none of the institutes you mentioned are worth joining for an MBA. Jamia is a bad choice for MBA and is likely a tier III institution while Jaipuria is probably tier IV. Jamia Millia Islamia average package for MBA 2022 is INR 8.8 LPA while Jaipuria Institute of Management's average package (2021-2023) is INR 12.34 LPA. The ROI offered is extremely low considering the fact that the cost of an MBA program is almost double the pay package you receive.  MBA is best taught at tier-1 and tier-2 colleges like IIM AND FMS. If you go for an average B School you will end up with a useless degree and a loan to repay.  However, if you are left with only these two options, then Jamia is still a better choice than Jaipuria as the fees charged are less.Read more
