Ans. Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics is better for pursuing a B.Com (Hons.). It is older and well-reputed. The commerce faculty of the college is excellent. NMIMS is primarily a B-School and offers a good MBA degree. But it started offering undergraduate degrees recently. Narsee Monjee B.Com fees are almost half of what you will pay at NMIMS. The total course fees amount to INR 92,000. NM College of Commerce and Economics placements are good. Reputed companies such as Morgan Stanley, EY, KPMG, etc. visit the campus placements. The average CTC received by the students is around INR 7 LPA. Read more

But you will have to manage attendance, lectures, presentation, projects, and exams along with CA preparation. Which won’t be a cakewalk. NM College has strict attendance rules.Read more

Ans. My cousin recently completed his graduation in B.Com from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. Although his sole experience was enough to prove the faculty’s excellence, he also had friends from other courses who had the same experience. Here’s what he and his friends had to say: The faculty at Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics is excellent no matter what course you study there. All the professors are highly qualified, experienced. The majority of them are teaching in this college for 8-10 years except those who joined recently. Besides qualification, the faculty is supportive and always there to help you with your smallest doubts. All in all, NM College has one of the greatest faculties you can find in any college in India. This sometimes becomes a problem for students who are working or doing internships along with their B.Com. The course in Symbiosis aims to create an unusual program that has the potential to gain knowledge from theories and achieve practical skills, enhancing the student’s mind. It creates an intellectually stimulating environment for students. It does not have a strict rule about attendance which enables students to pursue jobs or internships while studying.
