Dayanand Ayurvedic College was founded in the year of 1898. It is a first institution of Jalandhar, Punjab, which started the teaching of Ayurveda. The college is offering a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course for students. The college has produced more than 7000 Graduates who are serving the patient urban as well as rural areas. The aim of the college is to produce Ayurvedic professionals which are having the excellent, traditional and scientific knowledge and ability to help ailing humanity through Vedic wisdom in health and medicine Ayurveda.
