Established in the year 1924, Mysore Medical College is the first medical college in the city of Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. The college offers MBBS, MD and MS at the UG and PG level.

Mysore Medical College MBBS Admission 2021

Mysore Medical College offers a four and a half year MBBS course along with 1-year medical internship. Applicants who wish to take admission in the course must have passed 10+2 in PCB with minimum 50% marks from any recognized board.

Admission in 85% of seats will be done on the score of KCET and the rest of the 15% seats are filled on the basis of a valid score in NEET.

Mysore Medical College MD and MS Admission 2021

Mysore Medical College offers MD in 11 and MS in 2 specializations at the PG level. The basic eligibility criterion to apply is an MBBS degree with minimum 50% marks from any recognized medical college.

Selection of the candidates is done in two criteria; 75% of the total intake is based on the score of the entrance examination conducted by RGUHS while 25% are filled through NEET PG.

Mysore Medical College Application Process 2021

The aspiring candidates seeking admission in Mysore Medical College must apply online through Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The admission is done on a centralized basis, for which the candidates can register themselves with the official website of the university. In addition to this, separate registration with NEET and NEET PG is also required to appear for the entrance examination.

      Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science offers various postgraduate (PG) programs in multiple specializations. These programs are offered by Faculty of Ayurveda, Faculty of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences and Faculty of Homeopathy.  Candidates holding a Bachelor degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university are eligible for admission.
