BITM Bellary Ph.D Computer Science and Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. The part-time Ph.D. research fee at BITM Bellary is INR 17,400 per year, totalling INR 69,600 over the four-year minimum duration. A one-time counselling and registration fee applies separately.

Ans. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate or equivalent CGPA (50 percent for SC/ST/OBC), and qualify the VTU research entrance test or hold a valid GATE, UGC-NET, or equivalent fellowship.

Ans. Admission is through the VTU research entrance test followed by an interview at the recognised research centre. Candidates with a valid GATE, UGC-NET, or equivalent qualification may be exempted from the entrance test as per VTU norms.
