Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology.
• A minimum aggregate of 45 per cent in the qualifying examination is required for general category candidates (40 per cent for reserved category candidates under MAKAUT norms).
• Admission is through WBJEE 2026 (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) conducted by WBJEEB on May 24, 2026, and/or a valid JEE Main 2026 score.
• Candidates seeking admission on the basis of JEE Main must also apply through the WBJEEB counselling portal and fill in college preferences for BCET Durgapur.

Admission Process

• Appear for WBJEE 2026 (held May 24, 2026) at wbjeeb.nic.in, or use a valid JEE Main 2026 score for WBJEE-participating college admissions.
• Check WBJEE 2026 result declared on June 18, 2026 at wbjeeb.nic.in.
