BIT Meerut Scholarship 2026

The college offers a variety of scholarships primarily funded by the Uttar Pradesh government and based on merit, financial need, or academic performance. Students scoring above 90% in senior secondary receive a 40% scholarship, while those scoring 75% and above get a 10% scholarship yearly. Scholarships are available for the top three students in each department, with amounts of Rs. 21,000, Rs. 10,000, and Rs. 5,100 respectively. Students whose families earn less than Rs.

3,00,000 annually may receive a scholarship based on their category: Rs. 56,000 for the general category, Rs. 70,000 for OBC, and Rs. 87,000 for SC/ST. The college supports students in obtaining loans from banks like SBI and PNB, and also allows fee payments in installments. The total course fee varies, with amounts like Rs. 1,04,000 annually, which includes lab, admission, development, and tuition fees. Hostel fees are around Rs. 80,000 per annum.

Additionally, scholarships and financial aid reduce the cost significantly for eligible students, with some receiving up to 70% of their fees covered.
