Eligibility Criteria

Completed Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering or a relevant branch from an AICTE-approved polytechnic with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories)

No separate entrance exam is required, as admission is merit-based through DSE CAP on dse2026.mahacet.org.in using Diploma marks

Maharashtra domicile candidates are preferred for state-quota seats, and all-India candidates may apply for AI-quota seats

Admission Process

Register on the DTE Maharashtra DSE CAP portal (dse2026.mahacet.org.in) and upload Diploma marksheet, leaving certificate, and other required documents

Check the provisional merit list on the portal and submit grievances if applicable within the stipulated window

After the final merit list, fill the CAP option form listing preferred colleges and branches in order of preference

Accept the allotted seat in CAP Round 1 or Round 2 and pay the seat acceptance fee within the reporting window

Report to VBKCOE Malkapur with original Diploma certificate, marksheets, and other documents within the institute reporting dates
