Eligibility Criteria
- Passed BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, or a relevant discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories) from an AICTE-approved institution
- Valid GATE 2026 score in the Electrical Engineering paper or another relevant paper as accepted by SGBAU and State CET Cell Maharashtra
- Admission through Maharashtra ME CAP 2026 at me2026.mahacet.org, open to candidates after GATE 2026 result declaration in March 2026
Admission Process
- Appear for GATE 2026 in the Electrical Engineering paper at the official GATE portal. The GATE score determines the admission merit rank
- Register on the Maharashtra ME CAP 2026 portal at me2026.mahacet.org and upload GATE scorecard, BE/B.Tech marksheets, and other required documents
- Check the provisional and final merit lists on the portal and submit grievances if required
- Fill the option form during CAP Rounds I to IV, listing preferred colleges and specialisations in order of preference
- Accept the allotted seat and report to VBKCOE Malkapur with original documents within the reporting window
- Pay the prescribed course fee at the institute to complete admission formalities
