Ques. Which PhD disciplines does SKSJTI Bangalore offer?
Ans. SKSJTI offers 5 PhD disciplines: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Chemistry, and Textile Technology. All are 3-year full-time research programmes conducted under VTU doctoral regulations.
Ques. What entrance qualification is needed for PhD admission at SKSJTI?
Ans. Engineering disciplines require a valid GATE score in the relevant paper. Chemistry accepts CSIR-NET (Chemical Sciences) or GATE (Chemistry). CSE and Textile Technology also accept UGC-NET alongside GATE. All candidates must additionally clear SKSJTI’s research aptitude test and interview.
