Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a M.Tech or M.E. in Ceramic Technology, Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognised university from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent (50 percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Admission is through the MAKAUT Research Entrance Test (RET) followed by an interview at GCECT. Candidates with valid GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or SLET scores are exempt from RET and proceed directly to the interview stage.

Candidates must submit a research proposal and secure agreement of a potential supervisor at GCECT before applying.
