- Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
- Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
- The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

- Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
- From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
- There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

There are few colleges in West Bengal which offers Biotechnology as a B. Tech course. Hence, according to my preference, I chose Heritage Institute of Technology since it had the best reviews among all the colleges that offered B. Tech in Biotechnology. The college also offers a lot of opportunities and exposure to the students which help them to pursue a career in their core fields after graduation.

Only private college that offered Biotechnology and this college had good reputation about this subject. And, good placement record also. The teachers have ample knowledge about the scope of Biotechnology in higher studies and RnD sectors. They encouraged us to pursue higher degrees. Before the pandemic, very few had the idea about the field Biotechnology and what this course does! They encouraged us

I chose this college because I was very keen in doing btech in biotechnology and Heritage was the best option in Kolkata. The campus is huge and well maintained, the library has over 50,000 books, the classrooms are well ventilated and the laboratories has modern instruments. It has playgrounds, canteen and all other facilities that I wanted in college.

Firstly,HITK is my dream-college.To get a chance to be admitted in HITK after scoring well in JEE Mains was a life-changing event for me as I've dreamt to study Biotechnology from HITK since class 11.Of Course,there are some reasons:
1.The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked it 154 among engineering colleges in 2020 and 150 in 2019.
2.The college is amongst the top 5 Engineering colleges in West Bengal.
3.HITK has a well record of its Notable Alumni.(ex: Joyeeta Das- Founder of Artificial Intelligence Company "Gyana")
4.HITK is famous as one of the best private autonomous colleges in Kolkata as well as in West Bengal for Its quality of placements.

I was determined to study biotechnology and according to quite a lot of online reviews and ratings, heritage Institute of technology was found to be one of the best private institutes for biotechnology. Being an autonomous institute, it provides a very precise and updated curriculum, which helps to build extensive knowledge of a student. In addition to it, the well-equipped labs, a vast library, seminars, projects, trainings, internships arranged by the college, prepare the students for meeting the professional needs.

The recognition of the Biotechnology department of this college was very well known since the GATE Topper, 2019 of Biotechnology had scored full marks. She was an inspiration and the entire department had a great name because of the faculty members. The thing I liked most apart from my department is that, the campus is extremely huge and student-friendly. There are multiple areas for pursuing sports, a well functional stationary shop which has everything a student needs, a centrally air conditioned library and 3 canteens.

To be Honest, Biotechnology as a course is not provided by much Colleges in West Bengal(Btech Biotechnology, Not BSC Biotechnology), Also, Heritage provides the best training in Biotechnology that i can say for sure. The Faculties, Facilities given are Amazing. Personally, I always wanted to study something related to Biology in my Undergrad, Plus as a benefit, You also get to learn the basic engineering lessons which are not taught to Bsc Candidates

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.
- Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
- Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
- Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
- Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
- Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.

The campus has a huge ground and it also has a large pond. It has a very well-maintained infrastructure. They also provide students with all the necessary facilities. The canteen serves very well but it is really expensive. But overall it is manageable for students.
