- Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
- Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
- The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

- Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
- From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
- There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best College in Kolkata. With a huge Campus and Excellent lab facilities. The teachers are good and helpful. It has the best cultural fest in East India.
Seniors are very helpful and interactive here.

Admission:
West Bengal board conducts engineering examination. In this exam, the rank holder students gets admission according to their rank. Also it takes admission Through the jee main. through WBJEE exam I got admission in this college.

Remarks:
Academics are good but. Management is not supportive. They try to hide matters from students. They try to stop or cancel they student activities. Some student groups are formed who disturb the environment of college and college management shows poor attention toward this.

My college is best in Kolkata. it provides a geat opportunity to everyone who has the curiosity to learn something and also all the staffs were student friendly here. There is no accomodations and transportation problem.

Remarks:
Positive remark is that infrastructure is good, provide good library facilities and also facility of various sports are available to students. Many indoor games are also available. Also clubs, events, fests are praisable but negative remark is that management is not good, timing of classes and labs are very odd which waste time, also no separate time for particular sports. Also there is scope to improve library facilities with latest edition books as many books are of very old publication. Also some teachers are very wierd and look like they know very few things and just due totheir degree they are hired.

Again the quality of studying is great but the opportunities of core stream to get job in their specialized branch is extremely rare. You have to be depend on your luck with your skills. They don't ever entusiase us for thinking on innovate ideas.

The only negative remark would be the super lengthy class hours. Normally classes span from 9 am in the morning to 4 pm in the evening, with just one 45 minute break. In such lengthy spans, it becomes very difficult to grasp stuff because your mind stops functioning. If the study hours were more flexible with breaks in between it would be good.

Admission:
I got admission into this college through my wbjee(west bengal joint entrance examination) rank.colleges also accepts students through other entrance exams like JEE main exams . Students who have a diploma degree can also take addmission in graduation courses from second year through the jelet entrance exam.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.
- Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
- Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
- Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
- Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
- Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.

The campus has a huge ground and it also has a large pond. It has a very well-maintained infrastructure. They also provide students with all the necessary facilities. The canteen serves very well but it is really expensive. But overall it is manageable for students.
