Indus Institute of Engineering & Technology was established in 2008 in Jind, Haryana. The institute is affiliated to Kurukshetra University. IIET offers Bachelor’s and Master’s courses in Technology and Business Administration. All the courses are offered under the departments of Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration and Applied Sciences.
- Candidates must hold Higher Secondary Examination Certificate in science stream for pursuing B.Tech courses.
- Admissions to B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry courses will be through JEE Main and On Line Entrance Test (OLET), respectively.
- For admissions to PG courses, candidates need to appear for Haryana Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (HCPET), conducted by State education board.

IIET B. Tech and BBA Admissions 2023
IIET offers Bachelor’s in Technology and Business Administration. Admissions to B.Tech program are based on the counselling conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Board (HSTEB). Admissions will be made on the basis of candidate’s score in state or national level entrance exam followed by counselling. Counselling will be conducted on the basis of JEE Main score. Applicants who have secured 50% aggregate marks in higher secondary examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Admissions to second year B.Tech are made on the basis of On Line Entrance Test (OLET) for Lateral Entrance Admission conducted by the state technical education board. Candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering or Technology with at least 45% aggregate marks. Candidate having passed B.Sc with at least 45% marks and passed 12th standard examination with Mathematics as the subject are also eligible to apply. For admissions to BBA, candidates must have passed higher secondary examination in any stream with English as one of the compulsory subjects and at least 40% aggregate marks. Admissions will be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.

- 75% of the seats will be filled by Haryana State Counseling Society (HSCS)/ National Information Centre (NIC). The remaining 25% (including the 15% NRI seats) seats will be filled at institute level.
IIET M.Tech and MBA Admissions 2023
Master’s is offered by the institute in the fields of technology and business administration. The state education board conducts Haryana Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (HCPET) for admission to all the post graduate courses offered by the institute. For admissions to M.Tech program, candidates must hold B.E/ B.Tech in the relevant disciplines. Candidates with Bachelor’s in any field can apply for MBA. Candidates, who have qualified GATE, are exempted from the entrance test by the state. Successful candidates will have to appear for the further round of counselling. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are entitled to 5% relaxation in the qualifying degree examination.

Application Process 2023
- Visit the official website of IIET, Jind.
- Select ‘Download Application Form’ link under the ‘admissions’ tab.
- Select the course for which the application has to be submitted. Get the hard copy of the form.
- Send the duly filled in form to the institute along with the documents attached.
- Self attested copies of following documents have to be submitted along with the application form:
- Class 12 certificate
- Class 10 certificate
- Diploma certificate (for B. Tech lateral entry)
- Graduation mark sheet (for MBA and M. Tech)
- Character certificate
- SC/ ST/ OBC certificate (if applicable)
