JIET Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026-27 academic session at JIET are governed by national and state entrance exams across programme families. B.Tech admissions follow the JEE Main and REAP 2026 counselling cycle, while MBA admissions are based on CAT, MAT, and CMAT scores.

JIET Courses and Fees

JIET Jodhpur offers 30+ programmes across engineering, design, management, nursing, hospitality, and pharmacy. Total fees range from INR 4.05 Lakhs for D.Pharm to INR 10.41 Lakhs for the flagship B.Tech programme.

JIET’s B.Tech programme is available in eight specialisations, with strong offerings in emerging areas such as AI and ML, Data Science, and Cyber Security. The MBA covers six specialisations, making JIET one of the broader multi-school private campuses in western Rajasthan.

JIET Admission Process

JIET Jodhpur admits students to its UG engineering programmes primarily through JEE Main and the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). The institute also conducts its own admission test for direct-entry candidates who have not appeared for national exams.

B.Tech Admission

• Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; minimum 45% aggregate for General Category
• Exam: JEE Main (national) or REAP (Rajasthan state counselling)
• Selection stages: JEE/REAP score shortlist, choice filling and seat allotment, document verification, admission confirmation and fee payment
• Lateral Entry B.Tech: Diploma holders in relevant branch; admitted through REAP Lateral counselling with a 3-year direct entry into the second year

JEE Main cutoff at JIET for General Category typically falls in the lower percentile bands, given the institute’s open admission approach. REAP closing ranks vary by branch and category and are released annually after counselling concludes.

MBA Admission

• Eligibility: Any bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate
• Exam: Valid CAT, MAT, CMAT, or XAT score; candidates without a national score may appear for the JIET aptitude test
• Selection stages: Score shortlist, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI), merit list, document verification, admission

MCA and M.Tech Admission

• MCA eligibility: Graduation with Mathematics at 10+2 or graduate level; 50% aggregate required
• M.Tech eligibility: B.Tech in relevant branch with 55%; GATE score preferred; merit-based admissions also available

Design, Nursing, and Other UG Programmes

B.Des candidates need 50% in 10+2 and must qualify a design aptitude test or UCEED/NID DAT score. B.Sc Nursing and D.Pharm require 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) and a minimum 45% aggregate. BBA, BCA, and B.Sc (Hospitality) admit students directly on the basis of Class 12 merit.

JIET Placements

JIET Jodhpur reported a highest package of INR 33 LPA and an average package of INR 7 LPA in its most recent placement season. Over 220 companies participated in campus recruitment, placing 500+ students across sectors.

Core technology and analytics roles dominated placements. Recruiters from the IT, BFSI, manufacturing, and logistics sectors recruited from B.Tech and MBA programmes. Engineering branches such as CSE, AI-ML, and Data Science recorded the strongest individual offers.

MBA and MCA graduates secured roles in business analytics, consulting, and enterprise IT. Placement outcomes for B.Des students are concentrated in fashion, media, and design studios in Rajasthan and the NCR region. JIET Scholarships

JIET offers four categories of scholarship support covering tuition fee waivers, government aid, and corporate merit scholarships. Eligible students can receive up to 100% tuition fee concession through institutional and AICTE programmes.

AICTE-linked scholarships are applied to the annual tuition fee and credited directly to the student’s account. Candidates must submit scholarship documentation at the time of admission for same-year eligibility.

JIET Campus and Infrastructure

JIET’s 45-acre campus is situated on NH-62, Pali Road, Mogra, approximately 10 km from central Jodhpur. The campus accommodates engineering laboratories, design studios, a pharmacy lab, a nursing simulation lab, and a hotel kitchen training facility for the hospitality programme.

The central library holds 50,000+ volumes and 200 journals, with digital access through NPTEL and other e-learning platforms. The AICTE-IDEA Lab is equipped for entrepreneurship and innovation projects. Dedicated AI, IoT, and VLSI design labs support the advanced CSE and ECE branches. The campus has solar power installations and rainwater harvesting systems.

Hostel facilities accommodate 1,200 students in separate blocks for men and women, with Wi-Fi, mess, and recreation rooms. Sports infrastructure includes cricket grounds, football fields, and indoor arenas. The NCC unit and active student clubs support co-curricular engagement throughout the academic year.
