Students are eligible for campus placement from 7th Semester. In our TCS, TATA Power, L&T, Wipro , Adani etc. and off campus GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, FACEBOOK. The last highest package published by our college is 42LPA it's four year ago. More than 75% of students are getting placed. My plan after getting the degree is pursue M.Tech from IIT Kharagpur.

The reason for choosing mechanical engineering was that it was considered as an evergreen branch .The faculty : student is roughly 1:6.All the profeesors are highly qualified and know their subject matter a lot.

I chose the course because I wanted to research on semiconductor chips as it has a bright future in recent technologicak world. Faculty is very good, almost all the teachers are PhD holders. They all teach with proper care. Exams are conducted with proper manners

Ece is a evergreen branch which have future opportunities in both software and hardware category.. But the course is quite difficult than the others.. The papers of this course are quite hard as it covers both the software and hardware portion.. In kgec there are almost 10-12 faculty members for the ece branch.. The faculty members are quite knowledgeable and most of them have done their post graduation from recognized institutes. The professors have wide range of knowledge about the subject and they can help u out according to ur own need. They are quite frankly and helpy too.. The exams generally depends on university but the internals are conducted by college and the quality of the paper was good

3rd Semester onward placement program starts with a company presentation and guest lectures. College conduct a huge lot of companies do visit. Also, Mechanical students received a lot of pool campus opportunities if they specifically targeted only mechanical colleges.

Placements at this college are growing day by day. The Training & Placement Cell of the college is working really hard in getting its students placed in good positions. The average package of the college is around 4 lakhs per annum.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus visits. Amazon, TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant are the mass recruiters. The highest package is 22 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. Almost all the students get placed amongst those who opt for campus placement. Rest students including me opt for higher studies(MTech, MBA, MS, etc.).
