Ques. How does the TG ECET 2026 counselling process work for MNRCET B.Tech Lateral CSE?
Ans. Candidates with a valid TG ECET 2026 rank must register for Phase 2 counselling on the TSCHE portal from July 4, 2026. Phase 2 seat allotment and reporting at MNRCET is scheduled for July 25-28, 2026. Candidates must carry the TG ECET rank card, diploma mark sheets, community certificate, and passport photographs for document verification. Phase 1 counselling concluded in June 2026 and all allotted candidates report to their respective colleges by the same reporting window.
Ques. Who is eligible for B.Tech Lateral Entry in CSE at MNRCET?

Diploma holders in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent disciplines from recognised polytechnics with a minimum 45% aggregate are eligible for B.Tech Lateral CSE at MNRCET. SC/ST/OBC candidates require a minimum of 40% aggregate. A valid TG ECET 2026 rank is mandatory for admission through TSCHE counselling.
