The university offers B.Tech in 10 disciplines at different constituent colleges of the university. It also offers 10 double degree i.e. Integrated B.Tech programme. In addition to B.Tech courses, JNTU-H also provides B.Arch program on the basis of NATA scores. For B. Tech admissions candidates need to register for TS-EAMCET exam.
JNTUH offers M.Tech and M.Pharm in multiple disciplines. A candidate’s score in TS-PGECET also stands as a factor in securing the candidate a seat in the course of his choice. It offers M.Tech in 23 disciplines across the university departments and constituent colleges. For admission to M.Tech, a candidate needs to qualify TS-PGECET, conducted by Osmania University.
M.Sc program is offered in 10 disciplines including Biotechnology, Microbiology, Organic Chemistry, Applied Mathematics etc. The admission to the M.Sc program is done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the university.
MBA is offered in 4 different disciplines wherein candidates can choose their electives. Candidates also need to pass the TS-ICET entrance exam, conducted by Kakatiya University in order to get admission to MBA course offered by the university.
JNTUH offers MS, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs in various disciplines of Engineering, Science, Arts and Management. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance test and interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have already appeared for and cleared NET/SLET examination, need not appear for the entrance exam conducted by the university. However, they will be required to appear for the interview conducted by the university’s research education panel.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Training & Placement Cell is a part of UIIC committed to providing all possible assistance to its top-ranked students and also to meet the needs of organizations. It is a good course. Yet, Teaching staff could be better with more specialized trending research faculty and Placement department could be better with person from management background heading it.
College management is good and very highly-educated to handle students.
The college was good but not the management when it comes to following the procedures and time tables. I however, felt that I shouldn't have been here sometimes. The college doesn't offer placements much and many students focus on Govt. jobs and I really don't understand why these guys have admitted into MBA.
Till now I did not hear any bad remark about my college. Only negative thing is Cultural programs are very less. I can say very rarely seen.
The College was established as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College in 1965 by the Government of Telangana. When the college was under the administrative control of the Department of Technical Education, it was affiliated to Osmania University, Hyderabad. With the formation of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University on 2nd October 1972, it became a constituent college of the University and was later renamed as JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad.
