Placement Experience:
the campus placements are really good the aluminium network and are faculty brings the placement to the college and also also the placement cell of the college works really hard to ensure most of the students get placed and the highest package of this year is around 52 lpa CTC bhai final year almost I was 80% of the students get placed

- Overall the staff and Academics is good, the quality of teachers and the way they teach is good. Satisfactory experience
- The campus is very neat and clean, bathroom facility and all is good
- Library is good and very spacious. Has a silent atmosphere
Dislikes
- Campus is too small consist of just 3 buildings
- The college ground is not that big for a college, and only volleyball court and a football ground is available
- Transportation is a bit issue here, Bus and all is available about 1 km away distances onlu
Placement Experience:
Placement facility is very good. Recently in our college two students got a very high Placement of 52 lpa. You shouldn't be worried about placements in this college.The average package is 8 lpa, you should secure a minimum of 7 Cgpa to attend the placement sessions.

Our college has a good campus placements camparedx to other Govt. Colleges in kerala.
If you are a student looking for campus placements after your your graduation i suggest our college.
And our college have a high Alumini support which helps us to get placed.

Placement Experience:
Campus placements are a great deal at college. Both hardware and software placements are high. Electronic and CS branches gets placed quickly compared to other branches. Off campus placment also gives a great salary package.

- Infrastructure here is the worst compared to other college
- College services are aldo bad whon compared to others

Placement Experience:
Placements here are above average because last years highest placement is 52 lakh per annum and average package is about 15 lakh per annum. Companies like Infosys, air india, D. E shaws microsoft etc comes to this collegeand intersting is almost 90 % in computer department gets placed here

- Friendly seniors, calm atmosphere with no ragging or politics
- Makes students feel as they are part of mec with different activities hosted by clubs in the college

- Poor management in teaching, cant complete portions before an exam
- Lack of infrastuctural maintenance within the college
Course Curriculum Overview:
Considering present scenarios in the industry 30% of the topics in curriculum are not that helpful, but it sure does aid to shaping one's technological domain. But overall it can definitely be said that the curriculum prepares us but other skills in addition to it can guarantee success.

- Our college one of the highest placements providing college
- Low fees compared to other engineering colleges
- Has great freedom, friendly faculty members and nice teaching
Dislikes
- Small campus is one of the drawbacks. There not enough place to spend time with friends
- Small college hostels and majority of students are staying in private hostels
- Lab equipments are minimal and most of them are old
Placement Experience:
So majority of the students are joining the college because our placement. Our campus placements recruitment starts from 3rd year and fourth year. Every year famous companies like Google , Microsoft, oracle, synopsis and many other companies came to our college.The average package is around 6 TO 8LPA the highest package is around 52 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Huge syllabus. Almost all of it are pretty basic stuff. The curriculum doesn't pre pare you for real world applications. Exams are conducted every two. Months without fail. Too huge a syllabus to be completed in such short times

In seventh semester students become eligible for campus placement.the companies visited are ansys, TCS, oracle, Infosys,ibm,etc..the highest package is 52lack per annum and the average package is around 25 lack per annum

- Govt. Model Engineering College is one of the oldest engineering colleges in kochi. The Biomedical department is the first department in this college. It is the first Engineering Institute to provide Btech in biomedical Engineering in kerala.
- The annual tech fest conducted by MEC, EXCEL, is the first tech fest conducted by an engineering Institute in south India. The arts and sports meet known as Layatharang and Chakravuyh respectively are very much effectively organized by the students.
- The faculty and staff are very nice and efficient. The labs are very good. The co-curricular activities are very good. There are many clubs like NSS, Bhoomitrasena, Tinkerhub, IEDC , TEDX, etc helping the students to elevate their skills and ability.
Dislikes
- Its location. It is almost located in the top of a small hill or something which is a remote place. Unlike other Institutes in kochi, public transport system are much far from this.
- The acamedic schedule is very much tight , giving sometime only 2 months for a semester. But this calendar is actually prepared by the university.
Placement Experience:
The training and placement cell are very much active in our college. For 3rd sem onwards they train the students to attend an interview, take part in group discussions, etc. During the 7th sem placements occur. The core companies come to the college for recruitment process.
