Ans. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry, Computer Science, or Biology as the third subject, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in these subjects (40% for SC/ST candidates from West Bengal). A valid WBJEE 2026 or JEE Main 2026 rank is required. Admission is through WBJEEB centralised counselling at wbjeeb.wb.gov.in.

Ans. The total fee for the 4-year, eight-semester programme is INR 3,20,000. The semester fee is uniform at INR 40,000 per semester across all eight semesters, with no additional other charges. Fees are paid semester-wise as per the MIET Hooghly payment schedule.

Ans. WBJEEB conducts centralised counselling for candidates with valid WBJEE or JEE Main scores. Candidates register at wbjeeb.wb.gov.in, upload Class 12 marksheets and rank card, and fill in institute and branch preferences. Seats are allotted based on rank and preference order.
