Modern Institute of Engineering and Technology Hooghly B.Tech {Lateral} Electrical Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. Candidates must hold a 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from WBSCTE or a recognised board with at least 45% aggregate marks, or a B.Sc degree with Mathematics from a recognised university with 45% aggregate. A valid JELET 2026 rank from WBJEEB is mandatory. Admission is through centralised WBJEEB counselling at wbjeeb.wb.gov.in.

Ans. The total fee for the 3-year, six-semester programme is INR 2,45,000. Semester 1 is INR 45,000, inclusive of a one-time Other Charges component of INR 5,000. Each of the remaining five semesters is INR 40,000. Fees are paid semester-wise as per the MIET Hooghly payment schedule.
