The college had both hostels, Girls and Boys hostel, within the campus itself. The room were good and there were enough space for those staying in hostels. But proper cleaning and sanitation was looked after. The floors and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly in the beginning, but later they were rarely cleaned. There were rooms with double and triple and also four beds. One residing in hostel had to eat in hostel canteen. And the meals provided was mostly horrifying. They lacked proper taste. The total fees for hostel was around 50k,inclusive of canteen fees, per annum.
In the 4 years of journey, it was only twice that we had our extracurricular. Beside that, there were no such event. Even the campus was not that big enough for the students to play any games except Badminton or Volleyball.
Hostel's rooms are clean and is available on single and sharing basis. Rooms are painted well and are cleaned, their will be 4 washrooms and toilets in one corridor, aqua-guard is their for filter water in every floor, mess food is comparatively on in day scholar side, because their you can pay on daily basis, but its not worst as compared to most of the colleges mess food. One can pay Rs. 40 for lunch/dinner, if they do not opt for fooding in mess, apart from that their is cafeteria which have fresh snacks available.
Generally the gender ratio of male to female in each branch is 80:45. For parties, one need to take special permission from warden to celebrate in hall or to go out and celebrate, which the warden will confirm after seeking permission from the parents. workshops and seminar are regularly conducted. Best part of NM is it's NON-RAGGING campus, you will find seniors having your Introduction which is necessary to help you grow, but they won't harass you, as strict actions are taken if such thing are reported to management. Campus is equipped with CCTV and wifi. you will get the opportunity to participate in different colleges technical fests. Robotics workshops are also conducted, and extracurricular activities are conducted regularly, cleanness programs are too conducted to help the campus clean. College have a friendly environment where students of different caste, gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation stay together and share their 4 years life as a family.
The hostel facilities were good. Basic necessities like water and electricity was provided 24*7 which did not affect our studies in any way. Food was also of good quality and hygienic.
Campus life is very good. We got all facilities like extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc. Students were able to show their potential in various fields in different events organized by college as well as inter-college events.

In my department gender ratio are simply best1:1, labs are good, though computers are old but all are in working condition i realy feel bad about workshops in college there is no support from college mangement to oraganise workshops there is no problem about any religion all r living together.
There are 2 hostels available in our college one for ladies and one for gents. every buildings are 4 stairs with neat and clean. hostels fees was around 20000 per year excluding messing. in one room we have to share with one room mate.
Gender ratio of our college was approximately 40/60. and that's a good number i think. workshop of all branches are good according to my point of view. because in our mechanical workshop, approximately all machineries instruments are available.
The lab facilities were not up to the mark as expected. Even sports was not that encouraged and very less opportunities for people who aimed to do something in sports. All other extracurriculars were just ok. Nothing sort of that great.
There was seperate hostals for both boys and girls. Each hostel had a cafeteria and a mess. They mess would serve food for three times a day. The hostel was equipped with chilled water purifier on every floor. The room had bed and lighting solutions with power back up.
The college had a playground, gym, dedicated labs for each required subjects such as workshops, Networking and computer labs. All the labs were equipped with different models and tools to carry out any experiments. Be it transformer or any mechanical machines.
