NSEC offers B.Tech, BCA and BBA programs at UG level. 10+2 pass candidates are eligible to apply. Admission is granted on the basis of score in WBJEEE/ JEE Main or any other equivalent National or State level entrance test followed by counselling session organized by Central Selection Committee. The admission to BBA and BCA courses is done through merit.

Key Points:

This college is the first private college of West Bengal (estd. 1998) and is ranked among top 10 engineering colleges of the state. People used to compare this college with Jadavpur University , IIEST etc. as most of the faculties belong to premiere institutes. During my 4 year course, I completely relied on the teachers and never went for any other tuition classes.
Got good rank in abhee so I opted for this college. Teachers with Ph.D degree are 9. Regular publications by faculty and students at reputed journals and conferences. Regular research collaboration with reputed institutions like IITs, ISI-Kolkata, Jadavpur University, Calcutta University etc. Department prepares students industry ready through value added training, workshops, internship, Tech Fest, Seminars etc. beyond the curriculum.
I optes for this particular college as this college is best known for its computer departments. And fees of this college is also lower than the other. My friends also referred me to take admission in this college who have already passed out from here.
Actually, I have given my JELET exam at this college. So after the exam, I interacted with some seniors from this college. They suggested this college for a better future & placement opportunities. Also from various websites, I have seen a lot of positive feedback about this college. then I took the decision of getting admitted into this college.
I cleared WBJEE and got 11213 rank and by counselling I got CSE branch in this college as I wished to choose CSE so this is the only college I can get through this rank. Admission process is quite easy just get your rank fill the branch and colleges accordingly and wait for last round to get that college.
I gave jee exam and i got almost around 25000 rank. I heard about this college before for good facility so that i choose this college.
To get admission in this college I have taken up the WBJEE test where i achieved 19215 rank . Checking the previous years admission record i opted for this institute.
WBJEE, Rank - 19161. I choose this college because I heard about this college's IT branch, which is nice, it's also a techno India partnered college and this was the best option a student can get in this rank range.
I was selected from WBJEE. i ranked at around 33000 and got a chance to get admission to this college.. I was very happy to be selected for joining this college because it is one of the finest college in kolkata
