MCOE Pune Admission Dates 2026

B.Tech admissions at MCOE Pune are anchored by DTE Maharashtra CAP using MHT CET or JEE Main scores. Eighty percent of seats go through CAP, 15% are Institute Level (IL) seats filled by MCOE directly, and 5% are for NRI/OCI candidates. Multiple CAP rounds run through August 2026.

IL seat applications at MCOE can be submitted after each CAP round for candidates with valid MHT CET or JEE Main scores who did not receive a CAP allotment or prefer direct admission at MCOE.

MCOE Pune Courses and Fees

MCOE Pune offers eight B.Tech branches, four M.Tech specialisations, and two PG programmes. Fees are uniform across all B.Tech branches.

B.Tech branches include Computer Engineering, AI and ML, AI and Data Science, ECE, E and TC Engineering, EEE, IT, and Mechanical Engineering. Lateral Entry Admission

Diploma holders in a relevant engineering branch with minimum 45% marks are eligible for direct second-year B.Tech via MAH DIPLOMA CET counselling by DTE Maharashtra.

PG Admission Process

M.Tech seats are filled through DTE Maharashtra PG CAP using GATE (preferred) or MAH M.Tech CET scores. MBA accepts MAH MBA CET, CAT, CMAT, or MAT. MCA requires MAH MCA CET. Minimum eligibility for M.Tech is B.E./B.Tech with 55% (50% for reserved categories). All PG counselling runs through cetcell.mahacet.org.

TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme) seats, reserved at 5% of the B.Tech intake, carry a full tuition fee waiver. Eligible candidates must have family income below INR 8 Lakh and apply through the TFWS category in CAP registration.

MCOE Pune Placements
