RGIT Mumbai Admission Dates 2026

RGIT Mumbai BE admissions for the 2026 session are governed by DTE Maharashtra CAP using MHT-CET or JEE Main scores. CAP Round 3 seat allotment was released on August 24, 2026. ME PG CAP 2026 is also ongoing through DTE Maharashtra.

RGIT Mumbai Courses and Fees

RGIT Mumbai offers 10 BE branches and 3 ME specialisations under the University of Mumbai. All BE branches carry a uniform total fee of INR 5,24,000 for 4 years, at INR 1,31,000 per year. ME total fees are INR 68,000 for 2 years.

The uniform fee across all BE branches means students can choose high-demand branches like Computer Engineering or AI and Data Science with no fee penalty over conventional branches like Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

RGIT Mumbai Admission Process

RGIT Mumbai BE and ME admissions are governed by DTE Maharashtra. No separate entrance test is conducted by the institute.

BE Admission Process

• Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved category candidates).
• Exam: Valid MHT-CET PCM score or JEE Main score.
• Route: 80% seats through DTE Maharashtra BE CAP. 20% seats under management and NRI quota, filled directly by the institute before CAP Round 1.

MHT-CET closing percentile for Computer Engineering and IT at RGIT Mumbai has typically ranged from 85 to 92 percentile in recent CAP rounds for General Category (Home University seats). Branches like Civil and Instrumentation have had lower closing percentiles.

ME Admission Process

• Eligibility: BE/B.Tech in a relevant discipline with minimum 50% aggregate. Valid GATE score required.
