Ques. What is the total fee for BE Lateral EEE at RGIT Bangalore?
Ans. The total fee for the 3-year BE Lateral Electrical and Electronics Engineering programme at RGIT Bangalore is INR 4,00,000, covering Semesters 3 to 8. This covers tuition charges across all three years of the lateral programme. Hostel accommodation is available at additional charges not included in this total. Fees may be revised as per VTU or Karnataka government directives for the academic year.
Ques. What is DCET and how does it work for lateral entry into BE EEE at RGIT?
Ans. DCET (Diploma Common Entrance Test) is the Karnataka state-level exam conducted by KEA for lateral entry into the 2nd year of BE programmes. Diploma holders in Electrical or Electronics who qualify DCET receive a rank used in centralised counselling to allot government-quota lateral seats at VTU colleges.
