Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC), Mumbai is a private minority engineering college established in 1984. The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) is available for students with family income below INR 4 Lakhs per annum. Under TFWS, the tuition fee component is waived for eligible candidates admitted through CAP. SAKEC has no on-campus hostel and does not charge hostel fees.

SAKEC Admission Process

SAKEC has no management quota. All BE and B.Tech seats are filled through Maharashtra CAP using MHT-CET or JEE Main percentile scores. The process is entirely centralised through the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell.

BE / B.Tech (First Year) Admission

  • Eligibility: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum 45% aggregate in PCM (40% for reserved categories).

KJSIEIT's campus is excellent. The faculty is extremely helpful. You must maintain a high level of academic performance throughout your career. Attendance should be kept at around 75%, and if you have a genuine medical condition, it should be at least 65%. There are numerous technical committees, including IET, IEEE, IETE, CSI, and others. There are numerous cultural and sporting events. 

In terms of IT in KJSIEIT, it has a separate building that is amazing in comparison to the main building, and from a job perspective, if your skills are good, you can easily get a very good package, but you must be good at coding. More than 45 companies have visited our campus.

SAKEC Mumbai B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligibility criteria for B.Tech. in SAKEC are that candidates must clear class 12 with at least 45% marks (40 % in case of candidates belonging to reserved category eg. OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD) and appear for State/National Entrance Exams like JEE Mains, MHT-CET.
