- It was good the fest was also very good and so much enjoyable and the environment for study was fabulous.
- I have got a scholarship like swami vivekananda scholarship so it helped me a lot.
- Awesome faculty members and teachers are there in our college and their teaching method is fantabulous they help the students alot and make students comfortable in learning and feel free to ask .
Dislikes
- Some faculties are worst they don't teach us properly
- Sometimes the loads of assignments can be a burden above the upcoming exams.
- Encounter with seniors can be a little problematic sometimes.

- The teaching quality of all the faculties were top notch. Practical sessions were interactive and understandable.
- Mentors were provided and every month mentor-mentee meeting were held where we used to share our feedbacks. Mentors also gave us support and guidance throughout the course
- The campus is really beautiful and greenery with tall trees. Its really interactive and entertaining.
Dislikes
- This year placements were not so good. The percentage is very low this time. We expected that highly reputed companies will come this year but it was below our expectations.
- Skill development is very necessary in our field (especially for cse students). This lacks in our college. Proper classes and grooming were not done and as a result placement ratio was very low.
Placement Experience:
From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements.
The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made
Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa
50% students were placed
I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

Being A Tech Students We Are Mostly Closed Each And Every Application For Real World
Anual Exam Are Ok But The Midters Are Mostly In Every 3 Months So That Will Be Little Bit Difficult

- college faculties very good , campus very big, teachers are teaching us very preciously and they are very friendly types.
- there are have multiple play ground , students are playing sports like cricket, football, batminton, basketball.
- canteen foods are very good , if anyone not carring there home food , canteen foods also good.

- Ragging is totally banned in our college. So no ragging.
- Some Teacher are very good while some are not as much. But here seniors are very helpful.
- This college is also under Techno India Group.
Dislikes
- Campus area should be much bigger. There is no places for Enjoying except canteen.
- Infrastructure would be little better also.
- This college should be autonomous rather than MAKAUT affiliated.

In the 3rd year, some companies visit our campus to give Interships. and I think after 7th sem you will be eligible for campus placement.
In this year, until now, The Highest on campus placement is 12LPA and average is about 4-5LPA where the placement percentage is 30-40%.
So I mostly focus on off campus placements...

- The infrastructure is very good, it is greenery everywhere.

I have choose Cyber Security because nowadays cyber crime is increasing rapidly, so I have thinked then that this will be the demand course coming in future days.
The curriculum prepares me well stabilized and gain experience, skills for real world applications
The areas for improvements in the course curriculum is to create more lab sessions
The timing of exams is 3 hours

The course curriculum is very simple and is made furthermore simple by our faculties . Also the college curriculum includes various sport related activities to ensure good health such as cricket and football

- I like the college's buildings and faciliti members...Ther are very helpful..The professors are also supportive..

- I don't like the canteen of the clg...Th price is very huge...
Course Curriculum Overview:
The exam timing is so bad...We are not prepared for the examination...The makaut shifted the exam timing march to January so we are in a big trouble..We even don't know that,we will pass or not..But The professors are helping us so much...

the best thing about this course is that i always wanted to persue this from the starting and in between we all faced a lot of challenges but the subjects eventually were amazing so we coped up all of them

- Our college has a central library which has several books including for in journals and botanical series.
- Our college has cricket ground football ground basketball court volleyball court badminton court etc
- Our teachers are preparing for industry 4.0
Dislikes
- I think our department should increase the number of physics faculties for our sake
- The food price in our college canteen is little bit high I think that should be reduced

The course curriculum is directly relevant forever academics. The teachers are taking exams time to time to maintain our studies along with the course therefore we can say that our college and faculties are two helpful to us

- My favorite thing about my college would be the library. The central library that we have on campus has a large variety of books on a lot of different topics. There are lots of books on engineering, statistics, even literary books
- The college canteen is another factor that I like about my college. We have a central canteen which is like the main canteen and we have other 2 canteens as well. The canteen serves amazing meals and the food is quite affordable.
- The labs are incredible. They are well equipped. We have labs for ECE, EE, CSE, Physics, Chemistry, OT, software engineering. The lab assistants too are very helpful and possess vast knowledge on the subjects.
Dislikes
- The washrooms definitely have to be more hygienic and sanitary. That's something that the college must improve on.
- A few of the lab equipments although are available but have been lying idle for a while and could benifit from maintenance or upgrading.
Placement Experience:
Siliguri institute of technology has a history of succession placements. The average package is around 4-5LPA per annum and the highest is 27 LPA per annum.
As of 2024 several renowned companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Virtusa, EY have visited the campus for placements. The no. of students who have been placed are around 220+.
The placement is available from 4th year onwards. Students juggle between placement preparation and academics.
