Ans. Yes. All B.E. programmes at SSCET Salem are permanently affiliated to Anna University, which means the curriculum, examinations, and degree certificates are issued by Anna University. This applies to all six specializations including Cyber Security and Biomedical Engineering. The syllabus is set by Anna University and updated in line with its academic regulations.

Ans. Agricultural Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, CSE, and Cyber Security are priced at INR 2,00,000 (INR 50,000 per year), while Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are priced at INR 2,20,000 (INR 55,000 per year). The fee difference reflects higher lab infrastructure and equipment costs for these branches. All fees cover tuition only. Hostel and transport are billed separately.

Ans. Government quota seats (65% of intake) are exclusively filled through TNEA rank-based counselling by Anna University. Management quota seats (35%) are filled directly by SSCET. GATE scores are required for NIT and IIT admissions. The Anna University degree is recognised for all central government and state PG admission processes.
