Ans. WCE is an AICTE approved college whereas both COEP and VJTI Mumbai are autonomous government colleges. When compared, VJTI is the oldest engineering college between the three with the other two colleges being relatively newly established. When choosing between the three, students can compare placements, program curriculum, fee structure, and eligibility.  The points mentioned below highlight the same: Fee structure and eligibility: The following table highlights the fee structure and eligibility for M. Tech in CSE at all three colleges. College Fee Structure Eligibility COEP INR 1.14 lakhs for the first year Graduation with 50% and GATE VJTI Mumbai INR 81,750 for the first year Graduation with GATE WCE Sangli INR 96,930 for the first year Graduation with GATE Curriculum: COEP Pune: The two-year course has a number of electives, mandatory programs as well as skill-based and interdisciplinary subjects. Students will learn subjects like advanced computer networks, databases, algorithms, and machine learning as well as data mining. VJTI Mumbai: The course includes a few elective subjects and courses on computational methods and network programming. Some of these subjects include cloud architecture, advanced database management systems, information security among others. WCE Sangli: The course at WCE also includes professional electives as well as a number of lab sessions and seminars. Advanced computer networks, computational mathematics, modern operating systems, data mining are some of the subjects included in this course. Ans. VJTI has been ranked #71st on the NIRF chart in 2020 and Walchand COE ranks #168th on the same. The CSE program at VJTI saw the most placements in 2018 according to the placement data. The placement rate of the department was 96.2 % which was the highest in comparison to other departments. Following it was Electronics with an 86.9% placement rate. Infrastructure and Faculty VJTI: It offers a lot of overall development options to students with its Social Group, Gymkhana Group, NCC, and Nirman Magazine. Ans. KLE Technological University is a private and autonomous engineering college in Hubli ranked 151 among top engineering colleges in NIRF 2019 Rankings. Walchand College of Engineering is an autonomous college in Sangli, Maharashtra with a campus area of 90 acres. It has been ranked 168 among engineering colleges by NIRF. KLE University BE program for CSE whereas, Walchand College of Engineering offers BTech programs for CSE. KLE Technological University accepts KCET scores for admission whereas, WCE accepts JEE Main and MHT CET scores. In order to be eligible students require 10+2 from any recognized boards. Fee Structure: The fee structure of KLE Technological University for Bachelor of Technology is 60,000 INR. The fee structure of Walchand College of Engineering for Bachelor of Technology is 3.4 lakhs INR. Cut off: For admission in Computer Science Engineering at KLE Technological University, the cut-off for the general category went up to 12330. On the other hand, the cut off in Walchand College of Engineering went up to 157 for Computer Science Engineering in the entrance exam of MHT CET. WCE is a NAAC Grade 'A' accredited Institution and is also approved by AICTE. Admission: KLE Technological University offers a BE, whereas, Walchand College of Engineering offers a BTech program for CSE. KLE Technological University: For admission to the BE CSE program, students require a minimum of 45% in 10+2 and a valid KCET or COMEDK UGET score. Walchand College of Engineering: For admission to the BTech CSE, the prerequisite is 10+2 and students also require a valid score in MHT-CET or JEE Main.
