The college fees is ?35000 which is to be paid online and yes, there is transparency in fee breakdown but the fees is really expensive. It is hard for student like me to manage everything financially most of the students in the college helong to rich families and they have no money problem
The college is really good but there are some teachers who focuses on specific students, mst is also taken by college and furthere preparation goes on for semester exams, extra focus is given on those students which are not very bright and may have failed in mst taken by college.
Teachers provide notes separately if anything is updated in the books. Also, children don't feel burdened. Everything is being taught to the students properly with the help of seminars and smart classes.
Fees structure was though expensive it was the most expensive bcom college in punjab as we pass the semesters there is decrease in fee but in our college there was being increase in the fees every semester
Semesterly exams taken place and mid semester exams also taken place every semester so it was nice expierence as mst would have help us in the preparation for the final exam in an effective manner so it was perfect
The fee structure is quite feasible and is in accordance with the fees norms set up by the Punjab university, Chandigarh. The college also provides scholarships to meritorious students, underprivileged and financially weaker students. It also provides fee concessions for single girl child education.
Mine was an annual system of grading unlike the present one which is the semester system. In my opinion, the annual system was better since the course curriculum was elaborative and extensive so it required ample time to complete it thoroughly. In semester system, all though the syllabus is less as compared to the annual system, it does not provide enough time to the students to learn everything in detail as focus is on completing the course in the stipulated time frame. In my college, the exams were held thrice a year. First, we used to have exams in October of 80 marks each which used to cover 50-60% of the course curriculum. The next exams were held in the month of December which also comprised of 80 marks each and covered 75-80% of the syllabus. The final exams were held in the month of April which were conducted by the Punjab University, Chandigarh. These theory exams comprised of 80 marks each , exams being evaluated by the teachers of Punjab university and there was an internal of 20 marks per subject given by the college students. The 20 marks internal criteria was divided as follows : 2 marks for attendance 3 marks for October exams 5 marks for December exams 10 marks for project These marks were given on proportionate basis In the present semester system, the internal criteria remains the same , however the mid semester exams are held of 30 marks each in the month of September and December and final exams are held in the month of May of 80 marks each conducted by the Punjab University, Chandigarh.
Feasible The admission fees range from 33000-35000 per semester (6months) But the good thing is that it offers scholarships for students who score above 90% So, even though you are not able to pay the admission fee you have an option for scholarship
This college only provides 2 courses- b.com and BBA. Hence, they the course curriculum is well managed and we are given a booklet stating the syllabus at the beginning of every semester. Our course gets completed on time and notes are uploaded on items which can be used by every student from the id and password they would be given. So, thumbs up to the course curriculum
The fee structure of the college is expensive as compared to another college available in and outside the city. The college charges around 30,000 per semester per child, which is somewhat difficult to afford by everyone. Moreover, except for the faculty, nothing is worth this much that a student should pay this much fees.
The course curriculum is designed by the Panjab University, Chandigarh and the college follows the guidelines of the university very strictly. In the course structure, there is no such research work focus is mainly on the bookish language only. There is no such practical work or survey. Only the bookish syllabus Is mainly focused on.
It is at the average stage relating to the fee structure. It ranges from 30k to 40k per semester. it constitutes 2 different programs i.e B.com and BBA and for b.com it is around 34k and for BBA it is around 37k.
The course I choose was BBA and it is a professional course which is helpful in pursuing MBA. The college focuses on e-learning.
On the day of admission, candidates will be admitted on the basis of Admission Counselling conducted by the Admission Committee. The admission to a course will be confirmed only after fee payment through online route within prescribed time. The modes of payment will include Debit card, Credit Card and Internet Banking. If a student does not appear on the date and time scheduled for counselling, he/she shall be placed in the waiting list and his/her admission shall be subject to availability of seats. All admissions shall be provisional and are subject to approval of the Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Teachers teach through various teaching aids and practical examples along with detailed research on the subject.According to me the college is just improving academically. But it should improve on each and every platform. Not only good academics can make the college good but a all rounder ship is needed to make a college really good. The college is very much socially backward. No entrance exam was held in the college. Admissions were very easy.
