There are only good remarks about the college it is the best as i have already said the campus is also good but the crowd of students is very good no cheap crowd and even the canteen and the garden is the best and even the staircase at the entrance which is good when you get late for lecture and gate is closed.

Thakur College of Science and Commerce was founded in order to cater needs of the students who passed the SSC exam from schools. It had started with an initial strength of only 56 students in the commerce division in 1992. After that, there was no looking back, they have witnessed a spectacular growth over these years and now, after lots of focus and dedication, Thakur Junior College can now accommodate over 5000 students. The huge success of the junior college and the immense confidence reposed by the students and their parents, the Degree section was established in 1997.
