A Review regarding VIIT

Likes

Extra curricular activites which brings out the talent od the students.
Go green and swatch bharat campaigns are conducted by the group of students.
Sports activities and study,extra curricular activities given equal priority.

Dislikes

Less placements compared to other colleges
Lab equipment is not in fully working condition.
Some faculty behavior, if we done anything wrong then the internals will be decreased accordingly

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a passion for the current technology and I am willing to work on this technology for the growth and development of our country in technology aspects. The faculty in the college was okay and the teaching would be a little bit better the qualification of the faculty was MTech and Ph.D. and the teaching method is a fully digital mode which we can understand better, this is the positive thing actually. The term exams are a little bit difficult to score good marks compared to Final semester exams.

Talent programmes also conducted like dance, Mob, Acting

Dislikes

Less placements for the students, it is the biggest flaw in this college
The way of Lab teaching was not good and it should be better
Some times they didn't give time for the extra curricular activities because of the syllabus and all

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty members are very friendly and teach very well. The curriculum should be added the latest technologies which are essential for a student. I had chosen this course because of my passion for civil engineering. the qualifications of all the faculty are Ph.D. From certain streams and M.tech.The mid exams are a little bit tough to write compared to the sem exam.

My perspective of VIIT

Placement Experience:

The campus placements offered in our college are more promising from your 7th semester you can be involved in this and this year as of now Accenture and Amazon have visited and taken over 200 students the percentage is at 33% but there is a better chance to increase in the coming days

Infrastructure is beautiful and all the basic things a college requires see covered
Emphasis is given to sports and various sports competitions are conducted among students.
The quality and intensity of the training for campus recruitment that we were given was much higher in standards than any other college.

Dislikes

Weekly rest are conducted for all the students building immense pressure and stress of exams on students
Fees for particular year are asked to paid in the starting of the year itself. And failing to do so, we are not provided attendance. We are threatened that we won't be allowed to write semester exams without clearing the fee dues.
If student commits a mistake then teachers emphasize on complaining to their parents rather than letting student resolve his mistake.

Placement Experience:

Generally, the placement drives for on-campus companies start from the 6th semester. You might see a banner in front of our college saying 100% placements, but that's not the complete truth. The actual number of students getting selected on-campus is around only 60%. And the majority of them with small packages don't even get the joining letter. The rest of them get jobs on their own by applying for off-campus jobs.

Good college for good students

Likes

There is good campus placement in various companies.
There are many programs to build the students confidence skills.
There is a good faculty . The faculty is highly professional.

Dislikes

There is a weekly tests in every week. .
The transport from duvvada to clg road is not nice.
There is strict rules and timings in the institute.

Placement Experience:

There are many placements in our college. There is good Training and placement department in our college. They give proper training regarding placements and training. They give good opportunities in many companies.

The things I like in my college is campus infrastructure and atmosphere
The another thing I liked in my college is library
I like my college faculty because they are friendly and supportive

Dislikes

I don't like the roads which are near to the college
I don't like college timings. That need to be change.
I don't the water facility of college sometimes they are not available

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester, students have the eligibility for campus placements and fifteen to twenty companies have visited our college for our department and the highest package is 10lpa and the average package is 3lpa and the profile offered is designer roles. 75% is mandatory for every student in order to get placement.

Likes

I like the infrastructure and ambiance of my college.
And the other thing i like most in my college is cultural and activities. They conduct them regularly.
I like Library in my college where we got so many books.

Dislikes

I don't like my college timings. It need to be change.
Sometimes the water facilities are not available.
I don't like roads which is near to my college. We need to travel on that road every day.

From the second semester onwards the students get placements and ten to fifteen companies visited our campus for the MBA department. The highest package of MBA department salary is ten lakhs and almost 85 percentage people were outplaced in 2023.

Durga prasad Btech, civil engineering The faculty members in our department were supportive, experienced and helpful in academics. The college campus had a good environment for studies with decent labs, library facilities, classrooms and sport activities The course curriculum was relevant for engineering students and included practical learning through mini projects,labs, internships and presentations.

I had a very good experience at Vignan's Institute of Information Technology. The admission process was smooth and the faculty members were supportive from the beginning. The college provides good infrastructure, placement training, CRT activities and skill development programs for students. Regular workshops, coding challenges, hackathons and guest lectures help students gain practical knowledge. The college also encourages AI projects, societal activities and industrial visits .
