Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta was established in the year 1909 with the purpose of being a body of the university that is dedicated solely to the study of law. It offers higher education in the field of law and functions under the University of Calcutta. It has been given recognition by UGC and is affiliated to the Bar Council of India (BCI). The conducting body will release the result of Calcutta University BA LLB 2020 in online mode. Candidates will be able to check their results by logging into their registered account. The Calcutta University BA LLB result will also be published in form a merit list, which will contain the name, roll number and category-wise rank of the candidates. Candidates will be then shortlisted for counselling and admission process.

Yes, there are opportunities for placement. Every year a good number of law firms visit the college for campus recruitment and select a good number of students as their employee. Their salary ranges from 15K to 20K.
