Sri Aurobindo College was established by Delhi University in 1972. The college is named after Sri Aurobindo on his birth ceremony as a gesture of respect and remembrance as he was a great philosopher and patriot poet. The college is operational both in the morning and evening under various streams. The College is a reputed part of Delhi University.

Sri Aurobindo College UG Eligibility Criteria

  • For B.A, Minimum aggregate of 40% marks in the XII Boards/University. 
  • For B.A. (Honors), Minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the XII Boards/University. Candidates scoring a minimum of 40% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the mandatory subjects are also eligible for admission to the relevant Honors course.
  • For B.Com, Minimum aggregate of 40% marks in the XII Boards/University. 
  • For B.Com (Honors), Minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the Boards/University with Mathematics and Business Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
  • For B.Sc Life Science / B.Sc Physical Science, Minimum of 45% in XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology for Life Science. For Physical Science, Minimum of 55% aggregate marks in class XII along with Mathematics and two academic subjects and one language subject.
  • For B.Sc (Honors) in Electronics, Minimum Total of 55% marks or more in Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science and Mathematics. 
  • The Candidate must have secured the required aggregate for respective courses they preferred to opt. Candidates waiting for the final result can too apply.

FAQs

Ques. Is filling multiple courses in an online form allowed?

Ans. Yes, Filling multiple courses according to the preferences is allowed in a single online registration form. Also, one can apply in all merit-based and entrance- based courses at once.

Ques. Can we do changes or updates in the information provided by the candidate in the online application form, once the fee is submitted?

Ans. Yes, the candidate can do changes or updates in information till the end date of registration with the correction fees of Rs 100 and for updating the marks obtained till the last date of the undergraduate admission.

Ques. What mode of payment is available to pay the registration fee on Delhi University Undergraduate Portal?

Ans. The payment can only be done online through credit card, debit card, Net Banking, or UPI.

Ques. Are the candidates given admission on a first-come, first-serve policy after the declaration of cut-offs?

Ans. No, there is no such thing for Admissions in the colleges based on first come first serve policy. Instead, the candidate who has filled the online registration form and satisfies the criteria and cut-off for a particular course in a particular college will be considered for admission as per the schedule of admission specified.

Ques. I have completed my class 12th from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). Am I eligible to take admission in a regular college?

Ans. Yes, you are eligible to get an admission in a regular college provided you have applied in an available course and meet the cut-off criteria.

Ques. My result is not yet declared, can I still submit the online registration form?

Ans. Yes, you can submit the online registration form by choosing the awaited option in the drop-down menu of Result Status on the academic details page while entering the information on an application form online. However, you still need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria cut-off list of that course/college during the waiting period.

Ques. Is there any fee concession policy in the college? If yes, May I know the procedure?

Ans. Yes, there is a provision for fee concession in most of the colleges under Delhi University but only after you get admission, further contact with that particular college for details can be made.
