Silicon Institute of Technology Sambalpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students are eligible for placements or placement interviews after the 6th semester. Common companies that visit silicon are Infosys, wipro, and jindal and more than 45 - 50 companies visit. The common package is 4 - 5 lakhs pa. 95% of students get placements.

Its a good college. But the management can be improved.

It was ranked the best. I checked many sites and found it to be the best among all for which I was chosen. I found from the alumnis that this is one of the best college in Odisha. The job profiles which are offered are also great.

No cheats are provided in exams. Exams are fair and evaluation is also fair.

Overall college is good, there is only one bad remark that the college is situated 1.5km away from the highway.

After giving jee mains i have entered to silicon institute of technology as a student of electrical engineering Department. I had got a rank of 10390 all over india . As from the name of silicon bhubaneswar , i was completely sure that it was the sister concern of Bhubaneswar branch and this made me more enthusiastic to be a part of silicon. The Bhubaneswar branch is not having core sections and sambalpur branch had it all .

I had appeared OJEE Entrance Exam in 2007. Got nearly about 14000 rank. But the main reason behind choosing this college is that it situated at my home-town and the Silicon Bhubaneswar has a good reputation & it's the branch of that college.

I took OJEE examination to study b.tech in ECE. As i was a diploma student in ECE branch so i had to choose the same branch. Silicon was a best engineering college in orissa.

College has best infrastructure our management is totally negligible for us they believe in take and forget.

college always relies on beyond teaching.
