SITAM Faculty

The college boasts a well-trained and experienced faculty, including IIT graduates, with qualifications ranging from B.Tech, MSc, MTech to PhD, and even double PhD holders. There are approximately 200 faculty members for around 2000 students, ensuring a good faculty-to-student ratio. Mechanical faculty and other branches are noted for good teaching skills, utilizing experimental examples and real-life tools.

Faculty members are approachable, helpful, and focus on motivating students, although there is a noted lack of PhD holders among some faculty. Classroom learning is primarily theoretical, with some criticism of a lack of interactivity. Faculty are commended for their guidance on students' futures and are generally seen as supportive and encouraging.

Communication between faculty and students is reportedly friendly, and the faculty’s overall performance is viewed as very good.
