PVSCET Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026-27 academic session are in progress. BE and B.Tech seats are allotted through the TNEA 2026 counselling conducted by Anna University. ME and MBA admissions follow TANCA/TANCET 2026 counselling schedules.

PVSCET Courses and Fees

PVSCET offers 23 programmes across UG, lateral entry, PG (engineering), and management levels. BE and B.Tech form the flagship offering across nine branches and IT. General quota BE fees are uniform at INR 5,68,000 for four years, with Cyber Security priced lower at INR 3,48,000.

Management quota BE seats carry a total fee of INR 6,98,000. Government quota seats for BE are priced at INR 6,50,000, regulated by the Tamil Nadu fee fixation committee.

PVSCET Admission Process

BE and B.Tech Admission

BE and B.Tech admissions at PVSCET are governed by TNEA 2026, conducted by Anna University. Government quota seats (65%) are allotted based on TNEA rank derived from 10+2 PCM marks. Management quota seats (35%) are filled directly by the college for candidates with at least 45% in 10+2 PCM.

ME and MBA Admission

ME admissions require a valid TANCET or GATE score. Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech in the relevant engineering branch with a minimum of 50%. MBA admissions are based on TANCET or TAICET score; eligibility is any bachelor degree with minimum 50%. Government quota seats are allotted through TANCA PG counselling by Anna University at annauniv.edu.

Lateral Entry

Lateral entry to the second year of BE/B.Tech is open to diploma holders in relevant engineering disciplines. Government quota lateral seats are allotted through TNEA Lateral counselling. General quota lateral entry fee is INR 5,86,000 for three years; government quota is INR 1,65,000.

PVSCET Placements

PVSCET operates a Training and Placement Cell that conducts aptitude training, communication workshops, and mock interviews for final-year students. The cell maintains industry connect with engineering and IT sector companies for campus recruitment.

Core sectors hiring from PVSCET include IT services, manufacturing, and electronics. Companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, HCL, and Hexaware have participated in campus recruitment drives. TVS Motors and other auto-sector firms recruit from the Mechanical and EEE branches.
