CHM Scholarships: Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 103 Reviews

The college offers a variety of financial support options primarily through government scholarships, such as the Rajshree Shahu Maharaj Yojana and Post Matric Scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC students. These scholarships can cover up to 75-80% of fees for eligible students. However, there is no direct scholarship provided by the college for open category students, though scholarships are available for Sindhi students and those with high academic performance. The fees for courses are generally affordable, with B.Com fees approximately ranging from 6,000 to 30,000 INR per year, depending on the course and category.

Fee concessions are available for lower-caste students, and the option to pay in installments is provided. The college does not have a robust on-campus job placement program, and internships are mostly available in the third year with stipends ranging from 8,000 to 12,000 INR per month. The college also offers a travel concession for train tickets based on SSC exam results but lacks a loan facility directly from the institution.
