DCET Hyderabad Admission Dates 2026

DCET Hyderabad BE admissions for the 2026-27 batch are governed by TS EAMCET, with A-category seats filled through TGCHE centralised counselling. Phase 3 reporting has concluded and spot admissions are scheduled from August 16, 2026.

DCET Hyderabad Courses and Fees

DCET Hyderabad offers nine BE branches at the undergraduate level, seven lateral entry BE programmes, and multiple PG programmes including ME, M.Tech, and MCA. Total fees are uniform across all nine BE branches at INR 3,17,000 for the four-year programme.

The per-year fee for BE is INR 81,500 in Year 1 and INR 78,500 in Years 2 to 4, inclusive of tuition and other charges. Lateral entry BE is INR 76,000 per year across all three years.

DCET Hyderabad Admission Process

BE First Year

All first-year BE admissions at DCET are channelled through the TS EAMCET process administered by TGCHE. A-category seats (70%) are centrally allotted. B-category seats (30%) are management quota and filled directly by DCET without going through TGCHE counselling.

• Eligibility: 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from a recognised board. Minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST).
• Telangana local area status is required for reserved category benefits under A-category quota.
• Stage 1: TS EAMCET result and rank. Registration and option filling on tgeapcet.nic.in for A-category seats.
• Stage 2: Seat allotment through TGCHE CAP rounds. Report to allotted college within the deadline specified in the allotment letter.
• B-category candidates contact DCET admissions directly. No TS EAMCET counselling is required for B-category. Minimum eligibility conditions still apply.
