Course curriculum is very hectic. You have to submit the assignments in next class. Teaching method is ok, not very well, but when you ask questions they teach you very nicely. Exams are moderately tough according to architecture.

The curriculum mainly focuses on the architectural aspects. They organised yearly trip for bates to visit and see some architecture sites by their self and also the faculty asked students to visit some local sites.

The most difficult situation that a student will face in architecture is taking a 6 hour architectural design paper with no breaks what so ever. The degree is itself is quite hectic and no matter how much you manage it, sleepless nights before submission awaits you. Plus, you will have 3-4 submissions every week.

The Faculty here is extremely experienced and is considered India's best faculty in Architecture. Most of them have completed their doctorate in Architecture. The faculty members make sure personal assistance is given to every student. The college provides a number of opportunities as it is a member of NASA India too. Since the faculty members are connected with the industry as well, we always get industry exposure whenever there is an opportunity. The Course curriculum is very useful and it is designed in a way that students can deeply understand the concepts and their applications. Our college is known for winning in competitions held nationwide.

I have chosen Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Aktu, Lucknow because of many reasons:-1. It is the only Govt. College for Architecture study in whole UP2. I feel very special in my college because of the infrastructure provided to student which is very expensive, like lazer cutting machine,CNC router,3 D printer,Plotter for printing.And also the very nice furniture.

the college is much good as you expect from the infrastructure ,also its reputation in nasa , and the main thing is the interaction between the students it is like a family to us

I took UPTU exam in which i had scored 182 rank all over india rank and this college is one of the best college in up with more than 100 years. Architecture field is very creative.

It is a special entrance test for diploma holder to take direct admission in IInd year of B.Arch course in the year 1998.
