I choose BTech marine engineering as it is an engineering and if I dint get selected in any of the company then I would have many choices such as bank and other govt jobs. Faculty of the college is too good. Many of our teachers are passed out of IIT and NITs so they have vast knowledge about the topic they teach. We have 3 internals and 1 external every 6 months of period. And not very difficult.
College provides transparency in fees breakdown. Payment method accepted were by demand draft or banker's cheque in my time, however with Changi times they may have adopted online payments. Fees payment was year wise during our time. However they may have changed fees payment rotation to semester wise.
Course curriculum is one of the best among marine engineering courses, it has right blend of theory and practical learnings. For practicals, in house workshop is there & 2 months of exposure to Mazgaon Docks Shipbuilding yard. Our course was one of the unique course in industry, as it was designed to prepare cadets for deck as well as engine side duties, which doesn't exist anywhere in India.
It was really good according to time college management completed syallabus and there is lot of time to well prepare for colleges and faculties is very good except 1or2 lecturers.remaining evry thing is fine.
Yes, the fee is feasible to most of them as this is a central college, otherwise, marine engineering would cost high. The fee is about nine lakhs for all the four years of the course, inclusive of all the accommodation like lodging and food.
The exams here are semester wise, which means we have a total of 8 semesters on a whole. The evaluation is percentage basis, securing 70% is a decent score. In the syllabus, we have prototype workshops, two months of IND training, ship visit and, swimming and fire fighting classes.
The fee is feasible by most of them, it is Rs 2.5 Lakhs per annum, which is about Rs. 9 Lakhs for the whole course of four years. This is inclusive of all the hostel and food fees. Scholarships and student loans are all available.
There are 8 semesters in total, 7-8 papers in the first two years, 6 papers in the last two years. The course is very lengthy but interesting one. We have many practical sessions which makes the course interesting.
It's a central govt college. Total fees 9 lacs for 4 years.( Including all books, notebook, dress, bedsheets, flooding, lodging) You can get an education loan, the institute will help for your documentation. You can also get a scholarship. Around?3k for the semester exam. Yes college provides complete transparency
There is a semester wise exam and on a Percentage basis. The above 70% is considered a good score. There is a scholarship for topper students also. You will have a prototype workshop in the institute. You will get 2 months of IND training. Ship visit. Swimming pool, Fire fighting training
One has to pay 2.5 lac per annum which is quite high considering it a central government college but nowadays that's a normal fee of any engineering college, also the fees of private colleges go up to 4 lac per annum so considering this it is a nominal fee.
The course is not just about your studies it is also about your physical as mental health since one has to be physically and mentally fit to sail on a ship under very rough weather conditions. The course is a bit lengthy and vast but once you get the hold of your life in college, everything will fall in place.
Looking at the course the it can be said that it is a bit expensive but the course is totally worth it. As there are two semesters in a single year you will have to pay the fees semester vise, for every semester you will have to pay 1,00,000/ IN.R. and 25,000/ IN.R. extra for other expenses of the university and facilities. So in total you will have to pay 2,25,000/ IN.R. per year for four years and the whole course fees will be 9,00,000/ IN.R.
The course is of four years which is further divided into semesters. The course is very vast so sometimes it becomes very difficult manage all the physical training and the course books with everything else at the same time.
The fees of the university can be said is bit more than affordable for the students and their families. The fees is paid semester vise, for every semester the students will have to pay 1,00,000/ IN.R. and 25,000/ IN.R. extra every year for all three years. The total amount you will have to pay for the whole course is 6,75,000/ IN.R.
The whole course is of three years. To make it easy on the students every year is divided into two semesters. The course is very vast and so for some students it becomes very difficult to manage all the physical activities and studies at the same time.
