I chose this course because I had developed an interest in financial markets and analysis when I used to go to my dad's office so I decided to gain more knowledge of this field so went for this course. The teachers are awesome they are very kind and generous to all students and teach the curriculum perfectly they also provided me the opportunity to participate in Avishkar a research project at the state level they guided me throughout this project. All teachers are very passionate about teaching and qualified. Our exams were delayed a bit in this covid situation and it was held online so we had multiple-choice questions so it was easy for all of us.

I choose this course because I was very much interested in commerce, capital markets, financial analysis and also used to read various economic news. Our faculties are very good at explaining the concepts many of them hold a B.ed degree, many have years of experience in teaching. Our exams are the internals of 25 marks and semester of 75 marks which held in Nov and April. And exams are a little bit difficult but if you prepare well it would be easy for you.

I selected to go for BFM because I was interested in finance, business and the stock market and further I also wanted to do CFA so this course will be helpful in it. The faculty teaching method is good and all students can easily understand the concepts when in doubt we can ask them directly and they are always happy to answer. Many faculties have master's degrees many have several years of experience in teaching, many have experience in corporates. The exams are moderate as per difficulty level and it happens as SEM1, SEM2, etc

I choose this course because I used track markets since I was 18 years old I had a very keen interest in the stock market. Therefore I choose it. We have 1:12 faculty: student ratio. The teaching method is good they even provide recorded lectures so one can revise easily. Our exams were relatively easy due to lockdown we had only MCQs this time but the finals will be offline so need to prepare for it.

All the final year students are eligible to attend the career fest organized by the Placement Cell of SK Somaiya. Companies visit our campus during February - March. Many companies visit our college and they provide a wide variety of job profiles to the students.

The training and placement cell provides placement services to students through campus interviews.Many multinational and well- known Indian conglomerates regularly visit KJSCE for campus placement every year. Training and placement cell motivates and prepares the students for the interviews and prospective workplaces.

Okay, so we don't get anything related to our field. So I'm going to pursue cfa and then opt for jobs. I'm also pursuing actuarial science so I'll get jobs by that domain too. But people with operations, marketing,HR and content do get good jobs from their respective field.

After the 5th semester, all the students are eligible for the placement and Internships provided by the College. Various well known companies comes for the placement cell and picks the students who has not only scored well in his/her exams but also how much interactive they were during interview and how much basic and verious knowledges they have apart from there course. Highest package was 4-5 lakh per annum and average 2.5-3 lakh per annum. The selection of candidates in the placement cell are for all the various job profiles for ex. Software Engineer , ui/ux , Cyber security , web developer / designer and etc etc. In a batch of class around 60-70% students were placed in placement and Internships. I had planned to get the degree in cs and to learn ui ux design and to apply for the intership for 2-3 companies so after that I can apply for the big and famous companies like FAANG.

Good Aspects: 1) Campus. 2) Quality Education 3) On Campus Placement.Bad Aspect: 1) 75% Percent Attendance. 2) High fees. Admissions process at S.K. Somaiya are as follows: 1) Go to https://admissions.somaiya.edu/ and fill out the Preadmission form. 2) A registration fee of Rs.500 is required for undergraduate programme, student wish to apply. 3) If a student is offered a Seat, they will be notified on email, used during the registration process.Reason for preferring college: 1) Campus. 2) Quality Education 3) On Campus Placement. 4) Advance education options. 5) Availability of Minor Programs. 6) Cultural Activities and lot more.

The college provides campus placement if the student is eligible with not an only percentage but also with great creativity and skill. The average package provided is 25000. My plan after getting a degree is to do masters in film communication.
