KHIT Guntur Admission 2027 is done through the Andhra Pradesh state entrance tests and the state counselling. KHIT is an autonomous college in Chowdavaram, Guntur, affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. B.Tech admission is based on your AP EAPCET rank, and diploma holders can join the second year through AP ECET. MBA and MCA admissions are based on AP ICET. M.Tech admission is based on a GATE score or an AP PGECET rank. The state convener fills 70% of the seats through online counselling. KHIT fills the other 30% as Category B seats under state rules. The KHIT counselling code is KHIT. The 2027 test notices are not out yet, so the dates on this page follow last year's notices.
KHIT Guntur B.Tech Admission 2027
B.Tech is the biggest programme at KHIT, with 1,560 seats in eight courses. Computer Science and Engineering alone has 540 seats. CSE (AI and ML) has 360 seats, and ECE, IT and AI and Data Science have 180 seats each. The convener fee for B.Tech is INR 76,670 a year. Last year, the first phase seat allotment came on 9 Aug 2026, and classes began on 10 Aug 2026.
KHIT Guntur B.Tech Eligibility 2027
You must pass Intermediate or Class 12 with Maths, Physics and Chemistry. You need 45% in these three subjects together, or 40% if you are from a reserved category. An engineering diploma from the AP state board also lets you write AP EAPCET. You must meet the local or non local status rules of Andhra Pradesh. To get a rank, you need 25% of the total marks, but SC and ST students have no minimum.

The two year MBA at KHIT has 120 seats. Admission is based on your AP ICET rank and the state counselling. There is no group discussion or interview at KHIT. The convener fee is INR 57,200 a year. Last year, ICET counselling registration closed on 4 Sep 2026, after an extension from 31 Aug.
