NCRDSIP Admission Process

B.Pharm Admission

B.Pharm admission at NCRDSIP follows the DTE Maharashtra Centralised Admission Process (CAP) exclusively. There is no direct or management quota admission outside the CAP framework.

  • Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics. Minimum aggregate of 45% for General Category (40% for reserved categories).
  • Entrance Exam: Valid MHT CET score (PCB group) is mandatory for Maharashtra state candidates.
  • Selection stages: MHT CET score generation, CAP registration at ph2026.mahacet.org, document verification, online choice filling, allotment letter, and fee payment at institute.
  • Reservation: Maharashtra government norms apply for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD categories. Domicile certificate is mandatory for state-category reservation.

The DTE code for NCRDSIP B.Pharm is PH3230. Based on the 2025-26 cycle, General Category candidates with an MHT CET PCB percentile above 70 were typically competitive for this institute.

B.Pharm Lateral Entry and D.Pharm Admission

B.Pharm Lateral Entry is open to D.Pharm pass-outs for direct admission to the second year of B.Pharm. Eligibility for D.Pharm is 10+2 with PCB or PCM and a minimum 45% aggregate. D.Pharm admission follows a separate DTE Maharashtra CAP schedule published annually at dtemaharashtra.gov.in.

NCRDSIP Placements

NCRDSIP’s placement cell facilitates campus recruitment in pharmaceutical manufacturing, retail pharmacy, clinical research, and hospital pharmacy departments. The cell organises on-campus recruitment drives and supports internship-to-placement conversions during the final year.

Confirmed recruiters who have hired NCRDSIP students include Lupin, Cipla, Sandoz, IPCA Laboratories, Merck, Apollo Pharmacy, Medlife, Walter Bushnell, and Wellness Forever. Roles span production, quality assurance, quality control, medical representative, and retail pharmacy operations.

The institute offers value-added certificate courses in pharmaceutical R&D, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), and Drug Regulatory Affairs (DRA) to strengthen student employability. Industrial training is embedded across semesters as part of the PCI-approved curriculum.

NCRDSIP Campus and Infrastructure

NCRDSIP is located in Sector 19, Nerul (East), Navi Mumbai, close to the Seawoods-Darave railway station. The campus is within the largest residential node of Navi Mumbai, providing convenient access to public transport and hospital networks across the region.

Campus facilities include Wi-Fi-enabled laboratories, a pharmacy library, an auditorium, and a canteen. The institute hosts Pharma Avinya, a national-level student research competition. Professional counselling services are available every Saturday. NCRDSIP collaborates with AICTE-MIC-KAPILA and NIPAM for student innovation and intellectual property awareness initiatives.

NCRDSIP does not have on-campus hostel facilities. Students from outside Navi Mumbai typically find paying-guest accommodations in the Nerul and Seawoods areas, which have a high density of rental housing given the residential character of the node.

NCRDSIP vs Pillai College of Pharmacy vs SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy

Aspirants shortlisting NCRDSIP typically also consider other private pharmacy colleges within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Pillai College of Pharmacy, New Panvel, is a nearby Navi Mumbai-region option. SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy, Vile Parle, is a well-regarded private option in Mumbai with NAAC accreditation.
